Go and win-NCS flags off Woodballers for World Cup in Indonesia

Uganda will be the only African country that will compete the Beach Woodball World Cup Championship 2017 at the Bintan Lagoon Resort, in the Lagoi Bay Area, Bintan Regency.

The first ever World Cup will be held from 9th-14th August 2017 with competitors from Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea, India, China, Oman, Nepal and the hosts Indonesia in the inaugural beach World Cup.

While flagging off the team NCS general secretary Nicholas Muramagi advised the players to work hard and excel at the World Cup like they have done in international competitions before.

Uganda’s teams that left for Indonesia today included male players Onesmus Katamba, Bruno Bbosa, Israel Muwanguzi and Joel Adupa.

The women are Joan Mukova, Sandra Nabaggala, Lillian Zawedde and Joyce Nalubega accompanied by the Head of Delegation Grace Orone and coach George Isabirye.
